AWAKENING

Awakening Prayer and Fasting:

As a church, we have been pressing in through prayer and fasting to seek the Lord and set aside time to draw near to Him, hear His voice, and find His strength and power to guide us through 2012. We will be concluding our prayer and fasting time on Tuesday, January 31st. We will have corporate prayer times on Monday and Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. Come, press in and finish this time strong.

ADULT LIFE MINISTRIES

Super Bowl Party:

Are you ready for some football??? Sudden Impact and Singled-In are hosting a church-wide Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 5th, and everyone is invited! It will be a great time with friends, eating food, and watching the game on the big screens. Please visit the Adult Life Ministries kiosk to sign-up to bring a snack to share, or email us at suddenimpact.victory@gmail.com. The game starts at 4:30 p.m., so invite some friends and get to the Super Bowl party!

Ironmen:

Attention men! Ironmen is coming up on Monday, February 13th at 7 p.m. This is a great time when the men of Victory come together to share a meal, fellowship with other men, and get encouraged. Ironmen is a great time to invite family and/or friends. Tickets are on sale for $1.00 at the Adult Life Ministries kiosk.

Fork in the Road:

Have you found yourself at a fork in the road, and you're not sure what the next step is for your career? Fork in the Road Coaching can help. If you would like more information or to sign-up, please see Randi Tafoya at the Adult Life Ministries kiosk. Fork in the Road meets every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in room 211.

VICTORY GROWTH PATH

#101: Orientation:

God is doing great things at Victory Church, and we would love the opportunity to share with you what we're all about. Join us immediately following the 11 a.m. service, upstairs in room 218 next Sunday, February 5th for our monthly 101:Orientation luncheon. This is a time for you to meet the staff and hear Pastor Mike share the vision of Victory Church. Childcare is provided.

STUDENT MINISTRIES

Kid's Rock:

We are currently updating our check-in system, and we need your help. If you have a child in Kid's Rock, please fill out our new information card. You can pick-up a card from your child's teacher or from the check-in table in the lobby. Upon completion, please drop it in the offering or return it to the Kid's Rock check-in table. Thanks for your help!

Grounded Youth Winter Retreat:

If you're in middle school or high school, then don't miss the youth winter camp this year! February 24th-26th, we are going to Ponderosa Retreat Center in Monument for an amazing weekend of worship, challenging messages, unending fun, smores, a 1,000 ft. snow tubing hill, friends and more! The cost is only $95 or $90 for siblings. The deadline to sign-up is Sunday, February 19th. Come out to the Student Ministries kiosk for more information and to sign-up.

Grounded Life Group Sunday:

Are you involved in a youth life group? If not, now it will be so much easier to get involved. Instead of meeting at various times and places throughout the month, all middle school and high school life groups will now be meeting on the 1st Sunday of every month during the 2nd service. There is no reason or you to miss out! Come to the Student Ministries kiosk to find out about your age and gender appropriate life group and where it will be meeting.

Rise Young Adult Ministry:

If you are between the ages of 18-28, then we'd like to invite you to join us on Friday nights at 7 p.m. for our young adult service. We have spirit-filled worship and messages that are relevant to your life! This Friday, February 3rd, immediately following our service, we will have a food and game night in our newly remodeled cafe. Don't miss it!

MISCELLANEOUS:

Staff Opening:

We currently have an open staff position for a receptionist. This position handles all phone calls and walk-in visitors and works closely with the Executive Administrator to help with any clerical or administrative tasks that are needed.
Requirements:
Computer literate - proficient with the Internet and able to use all Microsoft Office programs (or the Mac equivalent).
High School diploma or GED.
Positive, friendly, professional attitude and demeanor.
Must agree with Victory Church's Statement of Faith
